Please note!
We modify our H..XL glass fiber material into the new glass fiber configuration PWR.
The introduction of the new filter material is done gradually.
During the transition period mixed shipments are possible.
PWR1 replaces H1XL
PWR3 replaces H3XL
PWR6 replaces H6XL
PWR10 replaces H10XL
PWR20 replaces H16XL and H20XL

glass fiber material PWR |
|
The PWR filter element consists of a composite of star pleated, 5th generation filter material. The total configuration is comprised of 6 layers including three glass fiber filtration layers and an electrical conductive fleece. Filtration grade: 1/3/6/10/20 µm "absolute". Performance data for ISO 16889 refer to "filter element characteristics" Use: For highest cleanliness requirements of hydraulic fluids and lubricants. Non cleanable. |
|
stainless steel wire mesh G… |
|
Surface filter made of stainless steel mesh 1.4401 and 1.4571, underlaid with supporting mesh. Mesh size: 10-1500 µm. Use: For protective, surface, coarse and prefiltration. Cleanable, regenerative. |
|
filter paper P… |
|
Low-priced depth filter made from filter paper, underlaid with supporting mesh. Made of special impregnated cellulose fibres to resist moisture and swelling. Nominal filtration grade 5/10/25 µm. Use: For coarse and preliminary filtration. Non cleanable. |
|
metal fibre M… |
|
Depth filter in stainless steel fibre 1.4404 with supporting fabric underlay. Filtration grade 5, 10, 15 µm "absolute" according to ISO 16889. Use: For highest cleanliness requirements with aggressive industrial and chemical liquids at high operating temperatures. Cleanable dependent on application. |
|
nonwoven VS… |
|
Surface filter of extremely solid reinforced fibre made of polyethylene-wrapped polypropylene fibre. Filtration grade: 25, 40 and 60 µm nominal. Use: Surface, coarse and pre-filtration. Especially recommended for cooling lubricants. Non cleanable. |
|
water-adsorbent media AS… |
|
Nonwoven media with water-adsorbent material combined with glass fibre paper. Filtration grade: 1/3/6/10/20 µm "absolute" according to ISO 16889. Use: Dehydration of hydraulics, lubricants and air. Non cleanable. |
Due to technical modifications in ISO16889 , the values for the dirt holding capacity can not be compared with those originally reported for the H..XL filter materials from the year 2003.

maintenance indicators
Hengst filters are by standard delivered with a mechanical-optical maintenance indicator. The maintance indicators are available in different response pressures. Further information can be taken from data sheet 51450
If you need a different response pressure for your maintenance indicator, please feel free to contact your local dealer.
electronic switching element
There are four different electronic switching elements.
Futher informations can be taken from the data
sheet 51450.
